Archana Kocchar, one of India's leading designers is going to unveil her collection online on Craftsvilla, a marketplace for ethnicwear, for the first time, according to media reports.

Craftsvilla has collaborated with Archana Kocchar for a unique collection of ethnicwear consisting of salwar suits and anarkalis. Manoj Gupta, founder and CEO, Craftsvilla.com, said, “Archana is known for her global design sensibilities and has been showcasing her collection on Indian and international runways for over a decade. From prêt to couture, she has been designing innovatively styled and draped lehengas, sarees, gowns, anarkalis. Our association is a step towards bringing her creations to the audience.”

“We take one more step towards reaching out to an audience who want to wear my creations without feeling burdened by the price tag as the range is stylish yet not unaffordable”, said Kocchar on the collaboration, in a statement.

Kocchar's design sensibility is a perfect marriage between exquisite embroideries and nouveau texturising techniques, which are traditionally rooted, all of these in luscious colour blocked palettes. Her clothes are an ideal balance of Indian contemporary silhouettes and craftsmanship. (HO)
