The jury members included Robin Kay, the President of The Fashion Design Council of Canada and Joseph Mimram, Chair of the Council. The Jury noted, "VATA Brasil has great colours and colour combinations, great design, and we are all looking forward to a show full of energy and excitement."

VATA Brasil was founded by Brasilian competitive free divers Mario Gomes and Ananda Escudero Gomes.
