Denimsandjeans India, the first Indian international show by Denimsanjdeans.com in the country, will focus on men's jeans in various stretches as it composes the largest segment of the market and is still growing. It will create a platform where the large Indian denim industry can come together and attract attention of global denim community.

The show themed 'Flexx Menn' will be more than a trade show and be more of an event celebrating the denim industry in India. The show will be the first-of-its-kind denim-focused show in India, which will bring reputed denim mills including top local and international garment manufacturers, together on one platform. The international show will kick on September 25, 2017 in Bangalore.

The exhibition will be the first denim-focused show in the country, which will bring some of the most reputed denim mills including top local and international garment manufacturers, together on one platform and provide a great opportunity to source denim fabrics and apparel. Key retailers, buying houses and factories from India as well as from Europe, South East Asia and the US are expected to visit the show.

The two-day international event will witness various programmes including seminars and panel discussions. Various renowned denim experts from across the globe will share their knowledge on denim. One of the presenters at the show will be Dr Dilek Erik from Turkey, who with her 28 years of experience is considered an expert in this field.  Erik will present the seminar on the topic titled ‘Why should we use stretch denim in men’s fashion despite the rebirth of rigid look?' Her presentation will focus on the comeback of denim, importance of stretch denim in men's fashion and latest denim trends in men's fashion.

India is now the second largest consumer of denim apparel after China. India is set to get a big lead over US and EU in coming years, as its consumption increases in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. (RR)
