Miroglio Textile shows new collections at Première Vision

Miroglio Textile, a company owned by Miroglio Groupwill showcased its latest and new collections at Première Vision in hall 5, both no. A-26.

“Miroglio Textile has in recent years developed a business strategy strongly focused on high levels of quality, service and sustainability,” a press release from the company informed.

With a strong international feel, the Fall/Winter 2016-17 collection is characterised by prints on natural materials.

Among innovations are flannels with flock effects entirely 'Made in Italy, and environmentally sustainable.

“Folk inspired fantasies and cashmere coloured palette trends see burgundy, ochre and forest green,” it added.

High definition digital printing enables Miroglio Textile to create small detailed designs with casual 'corrosion' effects as well as macro floral designs inspired by the 70s.

“In this extensive selection, there are also printed jacquard knits and three dimensional woven fabric bases, with essential shapes in white or black and on trend colours,” the fabric producer informed.

“Water saving is crucial for the preservation of the planet and this has been the objective of Miroglio Textile for many years", chairman Giuseppe Miroglio said.

According to Miroglio, 100,000 metres of natural fabric printed with Miroglio Textile digital technology means saving 3.2 million litres of water, equal to the daily water needs of one million people.

A silk, cotton or viscose fabric blouse with a digital print made by Miroglio Textile, offers water saving of about 30 litres over traditional print processes.

“The same shirt in synthetic fibre printed with sublimation process consumes almost zero water,” it stated.

Established in Alba in 1947, Miroglio Textile operates with three production plants, while more than €25 million has been invested in research and technological innovation in the last three years.

Miroglio Textile offers fully traceable made in Italy fabrics, provides guaranteed print production runs, has an rchive that has more than 50,000 designs to call upon and creates over 3.500 new designs per year.

The production capacity of the company is more than 25.23 million metres per year and pays serious attention to issues such as social responsibility and eco-sustainability.

Miroglio is among the first and major textile and clothing companies to have joined 'Detox', the Greenpeace campaign that aims to eliminate dangerous chemicals from its textile production processes. (AR)
