The latest Fall/Winter 2015 collection from the Parisian fashion house Kenzo celebrates the brand’s signature tribal aesthetics, first initiated by its namesake Japan-born founder, Kenzo Takada.

Adorned with letterings from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and graphic black-and-white prints, the vibrantly hued range is made using silk duchesse, faux fur and shearling fibres.

Designed under the guidance of the label’s creative head duo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the line includes pyjama sets, dresses with waxed sheen, single button pantsuits, loose-fit jumpsuits, oversized bomber jackets, military parkas and knit shawls.

Founded in 1970, the high-fashion brand Kenzo is known for its luxury menswear, womenswear, kidswear and home collections, and personalcare and lifestyle products.

Kenzo’s current head designers, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, are the joint forces behind the New York-based unique retail concept Opening Ceremony. Founded in 2002, the NYC firm owns wholesale showrooms and in-house clothing lines, as well as an e-commerce site, TV channel and an annual magazine. (PB)
