 Glitter, sparkle and shine at the Malaysia International Jewellery Fair (MIJF) 2009- Asia’s most promising jeweler design and trading event kick off from 8 – 11 July 2009. This 4-days exhibition is scheduled to take place at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.
MIJF has the support of the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board and MATRADE. Jewellery remains as top five major import and export in Malaysia. The potential growth of Jewellery-trade is undeniable. According to the statistics from MATRADE, the value of import has increased to RM400.22 million and the export value is close to RM2.7 billion compared to preceding year.
Malaysia International Jewellery Fair (MIJF) has long manifest as eminent Jewellery show in Malaysia and across the region. Official statistics showed that MIJF 2008 has marked a tremendous increase of 65% in exhibitor booths, which occupy two halls featuring 4, 766sqm in exhibit space.
The show itself has attracted more than 20, 000 visitors from local and overseas country, this included Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Philippine, India, China and etc.
Moving on to its 6th edition, MIJF 2009 deemed as the most awaited jewellery fair that aims to create a stunning record to the industry. MIJFwill showcase the best in region's finest jewellery collection from diamonds, pearls, jades, gemstones, precious metals to precious stones. Jewelers from around the world will gather at MIJF for the opportunity to penetrate into Malaysia market.
This 4 days event is open from 11am – 7pm for both the public and trade visitor. Visitors will be entitled a very special door gift while stocks last. MIJF 2009 is only open to public above 18. Entry is free, but for security reasons, visitors are required to pre-register. The spectacular exhibition is organsed by Elite Expo Sdn Bhd.
