Italian contingent, which wore Freddy outfits at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, will be sporting Giorgio Armani outfits at the 2012 London Olympics, the Italian Olympic Committee has announced.
The details of the deal between the Italian Olympic Committee and Giorgio Armani are likely to be revealed next week.
In the recent past, Armani has hired several sports personalities as models for its fashion designs, including Rafael Nadal, Cristiano Ronaldo, and David Beckham.
In keeping with the tastes of the 77-year-old designer, it is assumed that Armani's Olympic designs will probably focus on easy tailoring rather than focusing on high fashion.
