Ethical designer Izzy Lane collaborates with Topshop

Izzy Lane , who creates her own capsule collection using ethically produced wool, has designed three coats for fashion giant Topshop
The coats will drop in-stores from 5th September – the start of Wool Week – and be made from Izzy's own flock of sheep – a threatened historic breed which have been saved from slaughter and live on her sanctuary in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Shetland and Wensleydale sheep Izzy Lane uses are primitive breeds which were introduced to the Shetland Isles over a thousand years ago and produce a very fine wool. The wool is processed, spun and woven in Britain to support and revive what is left of the British textile industry.
“I'm absolutely delighted to be working in collaboration with Topshop who are so supportive of the causes about which I am passionate – the revival and support of the British textile industry, the revival of wool, one of our most sustainable resources, and of course the championing of animal welfare issues” said Lane.
