Eudon Choi wins LYCRA Style Emerging Talent Award

INVISTA, one of the world's largest integrated producers of polymers and fibres, and owner of the LYCRA fibre brand, is proud to announce the winner of a new award category at the second annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards. The “LYCRA Style Emerging Talent Award,” was presented to Eudon Choi on October 20, 2011 at a gala dinner in New York City.
Eudon, a Korean-born London-based designer, studied at the Royal College of Art and launched his own line in 2009. His first catwalk show was at the London Fashion Week in autumn 2010 and his designs have been featured in magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and Marie Claire.
“INVISTA and its LYCRA fibre brand have enjoyed a long history of discovering and supporting emerging design talent all over the globe, and we are pleased to continue this tradition with the WGSN Global Fashion Awards. Congratulations to Eudon on his achievement,” said Libby Neuner, INVISTA Global Marketing Director, Ready-To-Wear, at the awards dinner on Thursday.
As the winner of this award, Eudon Choi will receive consulting, marketing, technical and sourcing services from INVISTA during the development and launch of his autumn/winter 2012/2013 collection.
LYCRA Style fibre was specifically designed to meet consumers' need for personalised style without compromising comfort or fit. Additionally, it was developed for the unique branding, performance and pricing needs of the ready-to-wear market. The brand helps to create clothes that consumers love to wear, all day, every day, from day to night, and for casual to dressy occasions.
