After the success of its June 2011 show, TISSU PREMIER confirms its position as the standout event in the fashion buying calendar for previewing update collections.

The show's new dates are more in line with fashion industry schedules, ensuring attendance by a maximum number of visitors and exhibitors. Rich in content and information, TISSU PREMIER is a unique forum for networking and dialogue and is moving its focus further upstream in the supply chain, with an updated fabrics and notions offer designed to meet the needs of all buyers.

In 2011, in a fashion industry where responsiveness is key to success, TISSU PREMIER stays attuned to the market by mirroring changes in the timing of collection buying.

In response to faster turnover in fashion retailing and an ever--increasing demand for an almost continuous updating of collections, TISSU PREMIER is bringing forward its January 2013 session. This decision was backed by a survey of exhibitors and buyers, who voted in favour (59% and 71% respectively) of bringing the dates forward.

The winter show will now take place on 28 and 29 November in Lille, the hub of northern European distribution.

These new dates are also in response to the announcement that the Paris Porte de Versailles fashion exhibitions will be brought forward to 30 June-3 July 2012, so the Summer 2013 collections should be ready sooner.

Satisfying increased consumer demand for new products means buying needs to be staggered and the number of supply sources increased. TISSU PREMIER supports this growing trend of working on all seasons at the same time with no fixed timetable, enabling buyers to update and fine-tune their Summer 2013 orders, select Winter 2013 fabrics and plan ahead for Summer 2014.

By bringing TISSU PREMIER forward, we can also work more closely with suppliers and see sneak previews of new seasonal trends.
