Sasya's brand identity and language, takes inspiration from the meaning ' essence' or 'fruit', and has been interpreted through the Indian fruit, pomegranate, which is a collection of smaller units, that come together beautifully to form a whole. The fruit has been given a modern Indian form, unmistakably Indian, yet moving from ethnic to minimal.
The brand philosophy manifests itself in the store décor which is minimal and subtle with Indian accents, a fusion of western styles with a contemporary expression of Indian design. Sasya is owned and managed by the house of Simaaya incepted in 2005, a brainchild of Rachit and Mayank Agarwal, which revolutionized luxury fashion retailing, in Kolkata.
