Oliver Tolentino, Los Angeles' coveted red carpet guru, has been compared to the likes of Oscar de la Renta and Valentino. A celebrity go-to for everything luxurious and elegant, Tolentino's feminine detailing and strong silhouettes capture old Hollywood glamour. With a design philosophy that stems from the colors of his native country, the Philippines, Tolentino's vibrant prints and luxurious fabrics have earned him an A-List roster of clientele.

San Diego Women's Week will take place in March 2012 at the brand new LEXUS CENTRE in ESCONDIDO. And Oliver will present a 50-piece collection.

San Diego North Chamber of Commerce announcing Oliver Tolentino as the Featured Designer for their "Women's Week" fashion gala.

Los Angeles' Melrose Avenue is home to Tolentino's atelier and flagship boutique. In 2011, he was honored as Fashion Week El Paseo's 2011 Designer of the Week in Palm Springs, as well as the Philippines most prestigious honor, the 2011 Samsung MetroWear Icon.

Tolentino's eco-friendly fabrics have earned him the 2011 Featured Designer of eco-ethical endeavor Rags2Riches, the Sustainable Eco Fashion Award at Islands of the World Fashion Week, and a spot as a 2010 participant in the OSCARS Designer Challenge. Through his development and incorporation of tropical fabrics derived from pineapple fibers (piña), abaca plant fibers, water-lily leaves, jute and raw silk cocoon, Tolentino has become an advisor to his native country's weavers and embroiderers.

Tolentino's piña gowns also have been featured at Fashion Week El Paseo, Downtown L.A. Fashion Week, Gorgeous & Green (San Francisco), United Colors of Fashion (New York), the Oscars, the Peabody Awards, Islands of the World Fashion Week (Bahamas), international EcoChic events, and the Oscars Designer Challenge where it was the first time Hollywood had seen such material. Oliver won first prize at Bali Fashion Week 2008 with an outfit made of Philippine capiz shells.

2011 marked two milestones for Tolentino when he presented a stunning 68-piece collection during Palm Spring's Fashion Week El Paseo and a 75-piece collection at Manila's Samsung MetroWear Icon, both to standing ovations.

The Oliver Tolentino collection is a red carpet favorite among celebrities Vivica A Fox, Kimora Lee Simmons, Amber Riley, Sophia Bush, Karina Smirnoff, Mel B, Macy Gray, Patti Austin, Lea Salonga, Eva La Rue, Aly Michalka, Molly Burnett, Wendy Davis, Niecy Nash, Camille Grammer, Cee Lo Green and many more. Tolentino's timeless collection has been seen on the red carpet at Hollywood's most glamorous events including the Oscars, Golden Globes, Primetime Emmys, Grammys, and American Billboard Awards.
