This June will see the cream of the fashion industry celebrate the best graduates of 2012 at Graduate Fashion Week's 21st Anniversary. Leading the charge in judging and presenting are some of the most esteemed names in the industry. Daphne Guinness, Suzy Menkes, Christopher Bailey and Fiona Lambert from title sponsor's George at Asda are all confirmed to judge the prestigious £20,000 George Gold Award.

Other industry personalities who are giving their time to this year's event include Matthew Williamson, Mary Katrantzou, Jefferson Hack, Livia Firth, Julien Macdonald, Emma Hill, Mark Fast, John Rocha, Bip Ling, Lorraine Candy (Elle), Francesca Burns (Vogue), Jo Elvin (Glamour), Luke Day (GQ Style), Ruth Chapman (Matches), Caroline Burstein (Browns), Sarah Curran (My Wardrobe), Marigay McKee (Harrods) and Ed Burstell (Liberty) to name a few!

Graduate Fashion Week offers the best people-watching in all of London. Celebrating the work of over 1,000 of the finest BA degree students from 39 Universities from all over the UK and beyond, this is an opportunity for the general public and national and international fashion experts to spot the stars of tomorrow. For its 21st anniversary we have numerous 'mini events' planned throughout the week to offer visitors a fully interactive experience. There will be live photoshoots, a blogging bar, a pop up shop, a series of one to one 'audience withs' and a regularly refreshed exhibition of student's work.

There will also be a Recruitment Lounge which is being hosted by industry bible Drapers and WGSN is the event's trend partner and will be hosting an AW13 Trends Forum on Monday 11 June.

Colin McDowell, founder and creative director of Fashion Fringe, now in its 9th year, will be holding a series of Ask & Tells with Colin McDowell, a question and answer session with young London designers whose careers are at various stages of development. All are invited and the 45 minute sessions will be an open forum during which questions from the floor, and by emails and twitter, will be answered by the designer. Details of who is joining Colin on which day will be published nearer the date. This is everyone' opportunity to get the real story of the difficulties and joys of setting up a designer business in London, from the ones who have done it and really know.

GFW is very grateful to its title sponsor George at Asda which are supporting the event for the second year running.

George Brand Director, Fiona Lambert commented, “As we enter our second year as the title sponsor of Graduate Fashion Week, George continues to be one of the biggest supporters of young talent. We are passionate about fashion and we are committed to nurturing and championing the talent of tomorrow by investing in skills, promoting fashion as a career choice and highlighting the breadth of roles in the industry, and providing job opportunities and experience as they progress their futures.”
