Yanic Aimé to debut premiere range at NYC Fashion Week

Catering to the curvaceous and inspired by styles of another era, Yainic Aime is disrupting the fashion industry by making beautiful clothing accessible to women who are not stick thin or a size 0. The Spring 2013 collection features contemporary dresses and jumpers that can be worn from desk to dinner and are made for women with real bodies.

Focusing on form and fit, Yanic uses smart design, beautiful fabric, thoughtful patterns and color to accentuate the positive and flatter fuller figures. With sizes ranging from 0-20 Yanic is bringing back beauty and style to women’s closets everywhere. 

Yanic Aime’s foray into the fashion industry came, strangely enough, through finance. As an economics major at NYU she fell in love with the art of fashion after her finance internships landed her at fashion brands. She quickly realized that her heart was not in the dollars, but in the designs.
