Kristen Stewart appears for Balenciaga at Paris FW

Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart made an appearance at the catwalk show presented by the French fashion house ‘Balenciaga’ on the third day of the Paris Fashion Week, which witnessed some eye catching creations by various local and international designers

The female lead of the ‘Twilight’ movie series, who also is the brand ambassador of Balenciaga’s new fall fragrance, was dressed in the French label’s yellow biker jacket and a black-and-white floral print jeans.

Balenciaga presented a wickedly sexy Spring/Summer2013 collection created by fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquiere. The tough yet soft line featured sculptural black-and-white dresses, moulded bustiers with stiff ruffles, crisp canvas woollen pants, midriff-baring tops, long line jackets and cropped capelet blouses.

The French brand Carven showcased a demure and structured collection designed by young designer Guillaume Henry. The line’s ensembles include schoolgirl blouses, knee-length skirts and military-inspired little jackets in a sober colour palette of tan, cappuccino, red, grey-blue and black.

Fashion designer Manish Arora offered a collection inspired by his native country India. The heavily-embellished apparel range highlighted stylish tiger and gazelle motifs on tunics, leggings and dresses in hues like pastel yellow, turquoise and plum.

French couture house Balmain featured a glam rock-inspired collection designed by Olivier Rousteing. The glamorous apparel line includes super-structured dresses in elaborate braid embroidery, long pyjama-like pants and cropped navel revealing bustiers.
