Minerva Fashion event to boost Mexican textile sector

The Minerva Fashion event to be held from October 9-11, 2012 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco would boost the Mexican textile sector.
The event, which acts as a meeting place for fashion designers, entrepreneurs and students of fashion design, is aimed at promoting the Mexican fashion.
Organized by the Council of Fashion Jalisco, Minerva Fashion will provide a platform to Jalisco’s fashion and will position the city of Guadalajara as one of the leading fashion and design centres in Mexico and Latin America.
The objectives of Minerva Fashion is to promote the most outstanding work in fashion design, encourage training of designers, and boost the country’s textile, apparel and fashion industry, according to Uriel Dioz Santana, the president of the Chamber of Textile Industry of Jalisco.
