Sao Paulo Fashion Week features winter collections

Latin America's pre-eminent fashion event São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW) began with a vividly joyful and colourful showcase of 2013’s exclusive winter collections, in the largest Brazilian city of São Paulo.
The four-day-long Latin American fashion revelry will feature a range of extraordinary apparel lines created by nearly 20 eminent fashion designers.
The popular fashion label Osklen opened the first day of the event with its brightly hued line of knitwear, fur coats, knee-length skirts and trousers.
The chequered, animal and floral printed ensembles were based on a delightful colour palette of red, brown, blue, white and black.
Brand Tufi Duek by Eduardo Pombal presented a wonderful collection inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock blockbuster movie The Birds.
The line includes a range of dresses and pants made of leather, waxed laces, wool, lace sequins, linens and feathers in shades of black, green, red and purple.
