On Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Baltimore Fashion Week (BFW) will host its first designer meeting to announce the massive enhancements that will directly affect designers that register to participate in BFW2013 in August.

“It is always good to have a soundboard to discuss ideas or implement new ones for this production and my mentor, Brian Heath of Detroit Fashion Week is my production savior.  During our conversation, we discussed several ways to provide an enlarged marketing visibility for designers who participate in BFW2013.  I am excited to share those enhancements with our “intended” designers during our meeting,” stated Nixon.

The meeting will be held at the meeting home of BFW.  The FPSC has served as the meeting sanctuary since 2009 for this production.  The FPSC is located at 4801 Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21207.

“Designers should come prepared with questions and an open mind.  Entering into our 6th production year for BFW, we really need designers to open their minds and truly dig deep down inside and examine the true showcasing vision for their collections.  This production is for them and we are dedicated to making sure each designer registered receives the highest level of exposure to buyers, media, and press,” stated Nixon.

Baltimore Fashion Week 2013 will run August 7, 2013 through August 11, 2013 and will be held at the DoubleTree/Hilton, located at 1726 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, Maryland 21208.  Tickets for this event go on sale in the spring of 2013.
