Pakistan Fashion Week begins in London

Pakistan fashion would unfold in London as the Pakistan Fashion Week 3 (PFW 3) begins at Great "Connaught Rooms", London on November 16, 2012.

Being held after two successful editions - autumn 2011 and spring 2012, the PFW 3 would showcase work of some of the Pakistan’s most fashion-forward designers, who would display their collections at the event together with other globally renowned designers.

Being organized by Riwayat to present and promote Pakistani fashion before world market, the three-day event is expected to be a great stimulator as some of the most talented and inspiring designers of Pakistan are all set to display their collections.

In all 35 designers would showcase their collections with 40 models featuring the same.

The designers include some of leading names like Rana Noman, Aysha Haswani, Maheen Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Saadia Mirza, BJP, Umer Sayeed, Zainab Sajid, Gul Ahmed textile, Al-Karam, Ayesha Ibrahim, Nomi Ansari, Rizwan Ahmed and make-up artist Huma Tahir.

The organizers have chosen a larger venue this time for the event, which is expected to be attended by over 3,000 spectators.

All the designers would showcase their work at the space allocated to them within The Riwayat Boutique Longue. Visitors can view the collections, converse with designers and even purchase items while they visit the lounge, which would be kept open for two hours before every ramp show.
