James Ferreira, the talented resortwear designer from India, is collaborating with the leading Sri Lankan fashion and leisure swimwear manufacturer Linea Aqua for creating a line of beachwear collections, the Indian daily Business Standard reported quoting PTI.

Targeting the major resort centres, the resortwear specialist would design the clothing range keeping the tastes of Indians and Asians in mind, PTI reported.

The prolific designer introduced his maiden swimwear line at the recently concluded India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW), where he showcased a variety of loose fitting drapes, full-length jumpsuits, beach shorts and bikinis.

Hindi film actress and professional dancer Isha Sharvani walked the ramp as a showstopper for James Ferreira’s show on the opening day of IRFW 2012.

The Sri Lankan firm Linea Aqua is a joint venture between Speedo International (UK), Brandot International (US) and MAS Holdings.
