Oscar de la Renta unveils Pre-Fall 2013 collection

Oscar de la Renta, the US-based fashion designer known for his avant-garde red carpet gowns and evening wear, has presented his Pre-Fall 2013 collection at a high-profile runway show held in New York City.
The new clothing line includes a variety of conservative, classic silhouettes fit for different body shapes, sizes and ages.
The 56-piece range features A-line dresses with waist belts, off-shoulder peplum tops, elegant sequined gowns with deep necklines and skirts of varying lengths.
The collection also includes cropped jackets, crisp buttoned shirts and floral-printed jumpers in beige, black and burgundy shades.
The eighty-year-old seasoned designer, trained by the likes of Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio Castillo, has dressed many leading personalities from around the world, including Jacqueline Kennedy.
