Shari is the director of Mehera Shaw Textiles Pvt. Ltd., a fair trade, sustainable Production Company located in Jaipur India. She has extensive knowledge of sustainable fashion, supply chains and artisan textiles and has been working in the field since 1999. Shari holds a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin with a focus on artisan communities and development in India.

Mehera Shaw Textiles received a commendation as a sustainable supplier at the Source Awards of the Ethical Fashion forum in London in December 2012. Mandali also partners with Mehera Shaw Foundation Trust, a non-profit sister of Mehera Shaw, working specifically with artisans to develop up cycled textile products, and to create cooperative, micro-social enterprise and mentor-based education and training centers for artisan communities.

Mandali will be showing our launch collection of sustainable organic cottons, ahimsa silks and up cycled accessories for Autumn/Winter 2013-14 at the GREEN showroom 15-17 January 2013. We will be showing our collection of artisan block printed organic cottons at the Munich Fabric Start 5-7 February 2013.
