Stella McCartney unveils pre-Autumn'13 collection

Stella McCartney, the famous English fashion designer, has unveiled her latest pre-Autumn’13 collection at a private star-studded gathering, attended by an impressive list of high-profile celebrities like the US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, English-Canadian actress Kim Cattrall of ‘Sex and the City’ fame and American film, television and stage actress Glen Close, in New York.
Based on monochromes, the menswear-inspired women’s clothing line is a delightful mix of ultra modern New York woman like styles with a classy hint of English ladylike touches.
The collection includes billowing, striped trousers, over-sized pocketed camel coats, feathered floral jacquard jackets, chic capes and structured mini-dresses.
Made with luxe fabrics like velvet and silk, the eveningwear ensembles of the line feature simple column dresses in burgundy, red and matte pink hues.
Daughter of former Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney, 41-year-old Stella was recently awarded with an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her outstanding contribution to the British fashion industry.
