The final day of the Milan Menswear Fashion Week was an opulent saga of avant-garde autumn/winter 2013-14 collections by some of the highly-acclaimed and extremely well-reputed conjurers of international menswear fashion.

Canadian brand DSQUARED2, owned and operated by designer twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, presented a 1940s jazz club-themed runway show. The collection showcased crumpled military jackets, trim trousers, double-breasted wide-lapelled suits, low-slung pants, cashmere crew-neck sweaters and the brand’s signature jeans in a variety of cuts.

Italian design king Diesel Black Gold unveiled an urban collection with loose-fitting graphic printed ties, emblazoned tops, turtle neck shirts, neatly tailored jackets and long voluminous textured coats with furry necks based on a muted autumnal palette of gray, blue, black with sudden dashes of mustard and red.

Italian fashion master Armani rounded-off the four-day-long event with a gorgeous display of vibrant silhouettes and bright colours. The label’s latest neoprene, suede, leather, cashmere and mohair based collection featured light single and double-breasted suits, structured leather coats and jackets paired with close-fitting trousers and interesting ties in pink, black and silver hues.
