All set for Dubai's first-ever Metro catwalk show

Dubai Fashion 2013, the most awaited and much anticipated event of the ongoing annual Dubai Shopping Festival, is going to kick start from today with a unique catwalk presentation taking place on a moving metro train.

Organized in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority and Express Fashion, the city’s first-ever metro catwalk is expected to attract fashion enthusiasts and media from all across the UAE.

The one-of-a-kind show will feature a range of products from Bloomingdale's store in The Dubai Mall.

Other than the metro catwalk, Dubai Fashion 2013 will also have other fashion events such as Street Catwalk (January 26, 2013), which would showcase a runway presentation comprised of nearly 100 professional and amateur models, as well as Midnight Show (February 1, 2013) featuring a series of exclusive designer collections.

A favourite destination for top international designers and brands to present their latest ranges, Dubai Fashion, debuted in 2003, helps Emirati fashionistas to keep pace with the changing global trends.
