Cong Tri – first Vietnamese designer to showcase at LFW

Cong Tri will become the first Vietnamese designer to display his creations at the prestigious London Fashion Week (LFW), when he will present his new collection at the International Fashion Showcase, to be held as a part of the forthcoming LFW 2013.

In an attempt to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-UK relations, the British Council Vietnam has selected the talented Vietnamese designer Cong Tri to feature his ‘No 6 Nam-Mushroom’ line at LFW’s International Fashion Showcase.

The collection includes various stylised, chaotic yet symmetrical mushroom print detailing on a range of dresses.

One of the rapidly growing design talents of Vietnam, Tri specializes in combining traditional techniques with modern cutting-edge technology.

Launched in February 2012 by the British Fashion Council (BFC) and the British Council, the International Fashion Showcase will display the works of over 110 emerging designers from Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Estonia, Jamaica, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago and Uruguay.
