Christopher Bailey, the Chief Creative Officer of British luxury fashion house Burberry, spun magic again with the label’s latest romantic line titled Trench Kisses showcased on the penultimate day of London Fashion Week.

Packed with a starry front row, the brand’s catwalk presentation featured its signature trench coats revamped or reincarnated with glossy metal finishes, leopard spots, heart prints and rivets. Other than the lovely trenches, the collection also included pencil skirts and semi-transparent body-hugging dresses in shades of caramel, black, maroon and honey.

British fashion designer Antonio Berardi of Sicilian descent drew inspiration from the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer’s swirling, sculptural buildings of Brasília for his latest Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. The sharply structured line included jackets and trousers with cement block prints, crystal panels adorned dresses and plush fur coats in grey, navy blue, forest green and burgundy colours.

The luxury knitwear manufacturer Pringle of Scotland presented a 1960s inspired collection at LFW. Based on natural hues like duck egg blue, caramel, black and white, the line featured a range of shirts, trousers and cosy knitted dresses.

Scottish fashion designer Christopher Kane’s collection showcased a variety of camouflage print outfits in vivid silhouettes. Decorated with tiny silky strings, shredded filigrees of fluffy fabrics and images of head scans, the ensembles included knitted fluffy tops, identical skirts and jackets, feathery coats and velvet dresses.
