All eyes now on ready-to-wear at Paris Fashion Week

After dazzling cities of New York, London and Milan, ready-to-wear fashion week now moves to Paris – the most beautiful and style-savvy capital of the world.

The fashion event will witness a spectacular series of 89 catwalk shows featuring autumn/winter 2013/14 collections created by some of the big names of the industry.

Kicking off on February 26, the Paris Fashion Week (PFW) will play home to all fashion professionals, models, journalists, celebrities and the leading prêt à porter brands of the world for the next nine days.

Internationally renowned fashion houses like Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and YSL, along with designer labels like Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel and Givenchy are gearing up to present their new winter collections at the bi-annual French fashion extravaganza.

Among the list of top brands, Parisian house Balenciaga’s first-ever collection under its new creative director Alexander Wang is one of the most-awaited and much-anticipated shows to look out for at PFW.

Indian fashion designer Manish Arora, who is a regular participant in various international fashion events, will showcase his latest creations on the third day of the event, while popular British designer Stella McCartney will present her designs on March 4.
