With an attempt to revive the traditional handloom weaving skill in the state, an indispensable aspect of the socio-economic life in Manipur, reputed fashion designer Krishna Mehta has collaborated with the Manipur Department of Commerce & Industries for her upcoming show at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.

My fusion line has a distinct blend of Manipur’s art and culture and I’m eager to present their amazing work for the world to see.”

Saket Dhankar, Head-Fashion, IMGR, says “With an aim to celebrate and pay a tribute to Indian textiles and crafts, the Indian Textile Day has been a dedicated feature at LFW, season after season.
