The nine new looks, set to be unveiled in a runway show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s Southbank on September 12, were designed as part of an exclusive brief to represent the company’s nine new paint colours.

Farrow and Ball’s creative manager Charlie Cosby said she was intrigued to see what the fashion students had made of the fresh batch of quirkily-named colours. “We weren’t sure what to expect when we began this project but the tenacity and creativity with which the Kingston University MA Fashion students approached the new colours brief left us inspired,” she said.

Kingston University’s course leader for MA Fashion Andrew Ibi said the students had approached the project with wit, sensitivity, drama and diligence. “Teaming up with iconic brands such as Farrow and Ball has given them invaluable experience in the work involved in putting youthful and culturally-relevant collections together,” he said.

The outfits will be revealed in a runway show at 7.30pm on September 12 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s Southbank.
