LCF alumnus bags best fashion film award at Bornshorts

Josh’s film ‘Part Human’ is inspired by classic science fiction films Frankenstein and Metropolis and tells a story of a female scientist who attempts to bring an inanimate creature to life. The film also features costumes by MA Costume Design For Performance alumnus Antonella Petraccaro.

Josh’s success at the Bornshorts Film Festival is followed by a nomination for ‘Best Fashion Film by a New Talent Award’ at an upcoming film festival.

Josh said of his recent success, “It feels very encouraging and rewarding to have industry experts interested in the work I am doing. I feel very motivated to keep producing new work and developing new projects and collaborations. The MA provided the support I needed to develop my own style. I had the opportunity to freely explore my interests while having the tutors support and guidance at the same time.”
