Debenhams Department Store occupying four floors at the Senayan City enlivened the Fashion Atrium stage at the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week, with the theme “Debenhams Autumn & Winter 2013”.

Autumn is often identical with yellow, orange, red, soft purple, brown and maroon. In the transition from summer to winter we usually see how the leaves change colors and fall.

The beauty of fall colors became the inspiration for Debenhams new collections, including from Principle (Ben de Iisi), Star (Julien Macdonald), Butterfly (Matthew Williamson), H! (Henry Holland), Betty Jackson Black, Rocha (John Rocha), Jasper Conran, and Edition.

The first sequence was opened with formal clothes where combinations of blazer with short dress and blazer with pants and wool scarf were showcased. Grey, the color identical with autumn and winter, dominated the blazers. But the whole look did not seem gloomy since the colorful scarves would give a dynamic image and enlighten the wearers.

The summer warmth was carried out in formal pieces displayed in the second sequence. Bringing a black & white theme, the clothes came in classical silhouette, making them looked elegant. The grey sleeveless long dress also gave a graceful look. These classical cuttings were indeed timeless.

Debenhams choose the busy city women as the target market this year. With soft materials in the 16-piece collection, they will feel comfortable while doing various activities.
