Senayan shows black & white line at Jakarta Fashion Week

On the sixth day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014, Senayan City presented a black and white collection of Banana Republic, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Furla, Mango, Raoul, Zara and the latest hijab collection of B by Barli Asmara in a show themed “La Vie En Noir”” at the fashion tent.

The fashion show was uniquely packed by a musical performance on the runway, set in classical period of Europe. A number of celebrities, such as Dewi Sandra, Shelomita, Marcell Siahaan, and Rio Dewanto, and beautiful women from an association of Women for the State, such as Sarita Thaib, Chitra Nartomo, Marini, and Widyawati, also enlivened the atmosphere of the show.

The first sequence opened by a formal collection of Mango, Banana Republic, and Raoul, a combination of blouses, pants, and typical formal skirts for women with slim and sleek silhouette. The collection came up with casual bags of Furla that were made of leather and jelly. Later on, BCBGMAXAZRIA’s formal collection with a touch of print was showcased, followed by a stylish winter coat collection of Zara.

The second sequence featured dashing hijab wear B by Barli Asmara. It was opened by the appearance of Dewi Sandra. Asmara revealed long dresses and jumpsuits with a dangling cape made of a floaty material as the outer. A sequins application and combination of black and white floral print exude the glamorous side. Asmara also flaunted a collection of men’s coats with the characteristic of gorgeous accent on the collar or pocket.

The last sequence revolved around Asmara’s collection. Now, it was opened by the appearance of Marcell Siahaan. He displayed stunning maxi dresses made of velvet and pants fully covered with sequins, which was further combined with elegant lace.
