Matahari Department displays 'Indie' theme line at JFW

Divided into 2 sub-themes, “Nature Edgy” and “Efflorescence”, the brilliant mix-and-match of the outfits reflected the modern women’s lifestyle – independent, creative, and innovative. It also made the clothing can be worn on different occasions.

The first sequence was opened by the blasting upbeat music and a line of casual clothes made of denim and leather with crochet and studs details. Gorgeous leather jackets and parkas were the items every woman must own. They could be paired with denim shorts for a casual event.

Wearing a leather jacket with dress also could generate an edgy style. Just add gold accessories and wear high heels, you were ready to hit the party. The collection was also inspired by the nature, shown through the natural color palette used such as brown, green, white, and black.

In the second sequence, the atmosphere changed into a more cheerful one when the models walked the runway in beautiful floral dresses with neon blue eye-shadow.

The floral motif was also interpreted into a 3D application. Color palette of pink, green turquoise, off white, white, and beige gave a soft impression. Moreover, accessories of straw to small fur bags successfully warped the second sequence in an ultra-feminine atmosphere.
