Global fashion talents at Signature International FW

Some of the biggest names in the global fashion industry recently came together at the just concluded Signature International Fashion Weekend (SIFW), a three-day-long catwalk event held in Mumbai, India.

The soiree that aims to bring sumptuous haute couture creations from all around the world on one single platform showcased creations from international talents like Micha Barton, Mark Fast, Bora Aksu and Cute Circuit as well as well-known Indian designers such as Falguni & Shane Peacock and Drashta.

London-based Mark Fast opened the show with his latest collection Faster. Featuring the range for the very first time in India, the designer chose Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who also is the face of SIFW, as his show stopper. The 28-year-old diva looked resplendent in the designer’s green and grey detailed figure hugging gown.

Another London-based designer of Turkish origin Bora Aksu sent Bollywood actress Kangan Ranaut, in his show stopping ensemble, down the glitzy runway. The beautiful actress strutted in an exquisite yellow turtle neck blouse and floor grazing skirt, adorned with embroidered lace.

Other Hindi film actresses like Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez and Diana Penty also walked the ramp for other designers.
