Designer Renato Balestra to host 'Glamour is Back' gala

"Our entire organizing committee is dedicated to this event and the causes of the Global Fund for Forgotten People," says Mr. Furia. "We invite everyone in the community to reach out to us, if they have not already done so, to surpass our fundraising goals.

"The Fund operates all over the world and carefully monitors all the projects with which it gets involved. It is a chance for our South Florida business community to make a global impact and help all those that often get forgotten once the news headlines fade away."

Partners of the Glamour is Back charity gala include Gambero Rosso, Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College, The National Italian-American Foundation, The Beacon Council, Downtown Miami Partnership and Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts.

Honorary Chairs will be Ambassador Robert L. Shafer and The Honorable Consul General Adolfo Barattolo. Event Co-chairs will be Arthur J. Furia and Derek and Lee da Graca Pinto.

Glamour is Back will take place Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami. Complimentary parking will be offered.
