The just concluded 11th edition of Andalucía de Moda featured an array of avant-garde styles from the new and seasoned designers from the second largest Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia.

Held in the city of Seville, the event highlighted collections from designers like Bazarot Patricia Felipe Duque, Aurora, Alejandro Melero Berro and Daniel Carrasco under its Fashion Embark collective catwalk space.

Jointly organized by Andaluz de la Juventud (IAJ), meaning Andalusian Youth Institute, and Asociación de Diseñadores Empresarios de Moda de Andalucía (Adema), which translates to Association Entrepreneurs Fashion Designers of Andalusia, the event also hosted the Young Designers Contest.

The Young design student Carolina Rodriguez, from south-western Spain’s Huelva city, won the first prize for her ‘Silver Blood’ collection and Helen Moral scooped up the special Jury Award for her ‘A modern Look’ line at the glitzy soiree.

In addition to the style studded runway parades and design competition, the three-day-long event also hosted conferences on various topics related to the fashion business.
