Diane von Fürstenberg's wrap dress to grab spotlight

The evergreen jersey wrap dress, first created by the famous Belgian born American fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg some four decades ago, will once again grab the spotlight at an upcoming exhibit in Los Angeles.
Dubbed as ‘Journey of a Dress’, the event, which is slated to take place from January 11 to April 1, 2014, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic fashion favourite of all times which has found a place in almost every fashionista’s wardrobe.
To be organized at the historic Wilshire May Company, the exhibit will feature an eclectic collection of vintage and contemporary wrap dresses, designed by the 66-year-old veteran fashion talent.
Other than the dresses, the display will also include portraits and photographs of the designer by artists like Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, Francesco Clemente, Helmut Newton and Annie Leibovitz.
