A regular at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and, since 2010, at Paris Fashion Week Amaya Arzuaga, who has also appeared on the catwalks in Milan, London and New York, is now looking further afield.
The Spanish designer, who was awarded the National Fashion Design Prize in 2013, has been invited to take part in the next edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week, to be held from 13 to 16 January.
The catwalk show will take place on 13 January at the prestigious Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza, where the designer will be presenting her signature outfits in the latest collections of her two lines, Amaya Arzuaga and AA by Amaya Arzuaga.
A preference for mini-skirts and 3D silhouettes based on weightlessness and geometry are the key ingredients in the highly personal new offerings of a Spanish designer for whom global markets now account for 80% of earnings and who opened her online shop in 2012.
