Los Angeles Fashion Council designers to show at Tokyo FW

A group of Los Angeles Fashion Council design members are setting sail towards the Far East to participate in the forthcoming season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo (MBFWT).
Emerging Los Angeles-based labels like Katharine Kidd, Bohemian Society, Linden and Rose La Grua have been selected to showcase their designs in a multi-designer mix catwalk presentation or a showroom format on March 17, 2014 at the Japanese event.
Speaking on the Tokyo initiative, the Director of Los Angeles Fashion Council Kelsi Smith said, “We’re incredibly excited to announce that this March we’re taking a group of designers to Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo. We are endlessly grateful to the Japan Fashion Week organization for their support and their belief in Los Angeles fashion.”
Scheduled to take place from March 17 to 22, 2014, MBFWT will showcase an array of Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 collections from leading names like Motonari Ono, A Degree Fahrenheit and Somarta.
