In its endeavor to support and showcase the country’s upcoming talented fashion designers, Jabong.com, India’s leading online fashion destination has partnered with Lakmé Fashion Week to give the young and emerging designers the Jabong Stage (formerly known as Stage One), an upgraded platform to present their fresh and cutting- edge styles.  Jabong.com has partnered with Lakmé Fashion Week for next four seasons, beginning Summer/Resort 2014.

The “Jabong Stage” is all set to become India’s most sought after emerging talent platform that will redefine the fashion quotient of the Indian youth.

The Jabong Stage is a key highlight at Lakmé Fashion Week. Throughout the five days (12th – 16th March 2014) of fashion week, this newly launched premier platform will host fashion shows, fashion workshops, seminars, launches and much more.

Select designer collections will be made available on www.jabong.com enabling fashion enthusiasts from across the country and worldwide to wear creations right off the ramp.

Commenting on the association, Arun Chandra Mohan, Founder & CEO, Jabong.com said. “I believe creative design talent coming out of India is truly amazing and World class. We want to support the talent in every way we can.

Through this association, Jabong.com will be able to support creative designers to showcase new and emerging trends.” He further added, “Jabong.com also aims to facilitate greater connect between the designers and the consumers.

This partnership with Lakmé Fashion Week will enable us to make designer wear more accessible to Indian consumers. We are very excited about this year’s event and look forward to support designers better”

Saket Dhankar, Head-Fashion, IMGReliance, said, “The Jabong Stage is aimed at promoting India’s upcoming talent, a belief very dear to Lakmé Fashion Week. Jabong.com’s young and vibrant brand values make it an ideal partner for Jabong Stage.

With the growing popularity and success of Lakmé Fashion Week, the introduction of the Jabong Stage only seemed appropriate at this season of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014.”
