Fashion brand Oh Boy opened the second day of the Brazilian fashion fest Fashion Rio with its latest Spring-2015 collection.

Enriched with ethnic details, the range included lightweight designs rooted in Latin accents. Decorated with fringes and tassels, the displayed pieces were tie-and-dye jeans, cropped pants, dress pants, overlay skirts and mid-riff baring tops.

Clothing label Espaço Fashion brought the entire Brazilian carnival culture on the runway. Inspired from the indigenous dance form Carimbó and festival Folia de Reis, the ensembles featured at the soiree were decorated with prints of floral chintz and tiny flags.

Fashion brand Maria Filo’s creative head Roberta Ribeiro showcased a light and fluid collection, inspired by the popular markets of the world. Titled as Mermaid, the line showcased midi length dresses, floral feminine blouses, cropped tops and silk shorts.

Inspired from sportswear, Coca-Cola Jeans presented a line of technological fabrics such as neoprene and nylon. Replete with exaggerated sleeves, the catwalk range included cropped little jackets, parkas, shorts, pencil skirts, t-shirts, dresses tank tops and hot pants in off-white shades.
