The just wrapped up instalment of Singapore’s lifestyle and glamour packed event Audi Fashion Festival (AFF) showcased an array of Autumn/Winter collections from several leading international as well as home-grown names.

Singaporean brand Ong Shunmugam, owned by Priscilla Shunmugam, staged its first-ever solo catwalk presentation at the glitzy soiree. Titled as Madness and Civilisation, the range was a bold modern reinterpretation of the traditional Asian dress cheongsam.

Accentuated with Batik and ceramic patterns, the South East Asian fabric crafted casual and formal wear pieces were midriff baring crop tops, tailored pants, dresses and blouses with varying sleeve designs in fresh autumnal hues of sky blue, yellow, orange and green.

Japanese label Dresscamp showcased its latest A/W line, inspired from the famous German musical The Threepenny Opera and the works of Italian theatre, opera and cinema director Luchino Visconti. Replete with the label’s trademark vibrant patterns, the range was a balanced mix of baroque and romantic chic elements.

The house of Oscar de la Renta capped off the event with its ball gowns and menswear-inspired clothing designs. The everydaywear creations included pinstriped suits, belted coats and leather-sleeved motorcycle jackets with peplum folds.

Decorated with Oriental-style peony flower embroideries, folds and draping, the line also featured baby pink and purple dresses with huge girly green bows, knee-length tulle frocks and intricately beaded column gowns.
