Gucci celebrates first temporary museo's opening in Brazil

Creative Director Frida Giannini and President and CEO Patrizio di Marco hosted a private cocktail to celebrate the opening of the House’s first temporary museo in São Paulo’s JK Iguatemi Mall. Giannini and di Marco were joined by Carlos Jereissati Filho, CEO of Iguatemi, who hosted a dinner in Giannini’s honor the previous evening.

The three-week Gucci Museo “Forever Now” exhibit replicates the House’s Florentine museo, a living space encapsulating its “Forever Now” philosophy that pays tribute to Gucci’s heritage while looking to the future. A gift shop complements the exhibition space and creates a destination location for visitors.

The “Forever Now” exhibition boasts an array of archival and contemporary pieces on loan from the Gucci Museo within different thematic spaces inspired by the House’s signature motifs and symbols – including Bamboo, Flora, Travel, Horsebit, Première, and Made to Measure. Among the designs on display, a selection of rare styles that Gucci will showcase for public viewing for the first time ever.

The guests who attended includes; Fernanda Abdalla, Carla Amorim, Sandro Barros, Camilla Belle, Dudu Bertholini, Chris Bicalho, Georgina Brandolini, Juliano & Leticia Cazarre, Rene Behar, Mariasole Cecchi, Felipe Diniz, Carol Francischini, Toni Garrn, Esther Giobbi, Juliana Jabour, Vanda Jacintho, Iara Jereissati, Jeff Leatham, Fernanda Motta, Roberto Paz, Kelly Piquet, Chris Pitanguy, Rui & Luisa Porto, Tatiana Rosato, Amir Slama, Silvana Tinelli, Paolo & Erika Zullo.
