The just concluded instalment of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2014 highlighted several trendy apparel designs from young and well-established Filipino talents.

The event featured a special anniversary show celebrating the 125th year of international denim brand Lee. The 60-piece catwalk range included pieces from the label’s 101+ collection and the women’s fitted Stretch Deluxe line.

Replete with double-layered pockets, embroidered labels, zip-fly embellishments and innovative rear branding designs, the line featured deconstructed and reconstructed pants, tops, over-alls and tailored jackets in different forms, fits and shades.

SM Woman, the local multi-brand store, showcased a very versatile collection fit to be worn to work, social events and travel purposes. The pieces were accentuated with windowpane checks and digital, floral and graphic prints.

The range displayed pastel and neutral hued light breathable fabric made tailored jackets and loose-fit trousers for corporate wear and smart pants, skirts, tops and short dresses for eveningwear. For travel, the line included coloured loose harem pants, robes and cover ups in cool watercolour prints.

Dubai-based Filipino designer Albert Andrada presented The Couleurs Royale Dress Collection at the soiree. The catwalk show displayed and array of jewel-toned evening gowns and ultra-feminine metallic gold embroidered dresses. The charity fashion parade was held to benefit the ABS-CBN Foundation, which is committed to advocate for public service in strategic sector of Philippine society.

In addition to the above mentioned labels, names like Alodia Cecilia, Anthony Ramirez, Cherry Samuya Veric, Edgar San Diego, Eric Delos Santos, Jerome Salaya Ang, Jun Jun Cambe, Simon Ariel Vasquez and Randall Solomon also presented their holiday 2014 collections at the fashion soiree.
