Friendly Fashion Boutique, a leading fashion boutique, spills on six of this summer's hottest styles and how women can incorporate them into their wardrobe.

According to a June 11th article published by Ahram Online titled, "Six fashion staples dominating the summer 2014 catwalk," there are six must-follow trends this summer.

Florals: Bright floral patterns are always a classic wardrobe choice for summer, but this summer the vibrant patterns are especially popular on the runways. The article recommends wearing floral patterned jumpsuits, tops, pants, and skirts.

Cats-eye sunglasses: These shades have a feminine silhouette and stand out among other popular styles like aviators and ray bans. The article adds that cats-eye glasses with translucent frames are an especially trendy look.

Shirt dresses: Button-down shirt dresses are a comfy, laid back style trend this summer. The article suggests completing the look with a belt and ballet flats.

Pleats: According to the article, pleats are making a huge comeback this summer. Pleated styles in pastel shades were prominent at this year's Oscars. Incorporate pleated shirts and dresses into your wardrobe to get this look.

Sheer fabric: Sheer fabrics are popping up all over the place this season. A popular way to wear this trend is in a blouse or a dress. There are plenty of color options available, ranging from bright, neon shades to sweet pastels.

Embellishments: Clothes and accessories with jeweled embellishments are a very hot trend this summer. Embellishments can be incorporated into a variety of accessories and clothing pieces, including bags, shorts, and jewelry.

Rick Ammirati, owner of Friendly Drugs, agrees that these style trends are some of the most popular for summer 2014. "From the runways to the streets of the trendiest neighborhoods down town, bright colors and floral patterns are huge right now," he says. "The bold floral patterns and wispy sheer fabrics perfectly capture the essence of summer as the fun, bright, care-free season that it is."

Ammirati adds a few suggestions for personalizing new trends. "It is important to let your individual style shine through, while wearing any trend," he explains. "It is definitely possible to find ways to incorporate these looks in ways that work with your own unique style. The great thing about these trends is that there are a variety of ways to wear them. For example, jeweled embellishments can be worn either as a bold statement piece, like a big, glimmering necklace, or more subtly to complement the wearer's personal style in the form of smaller accessories."
