35 brands stage fashion shows at Fashion Kode 2014

Around 35 brands showcased their avant-garde collections at the various catwalk shows held at the Kode Space, a special runway stage organized as part of the recently concluded annual trade show for Korean fashion designers Fashion Kode 2014.
More than 120 Korean fashion brands such as Jehee Sheen, Beyond Closet, Jarret and J Koo participated at the three-day fair, aimed at boosting the development of the country’s fashion and cultural industries.
Attended by over 400 national and foreign buyers, the event, which is running into its second year, was primarily aimed at strengthening the position of Korean brands in the global fashion market with an unwavering spotlight on the local up and coming talents.
The event’s buyers’ list included names of some of the major retailers of the world, including Harvey Nichols, Free’s Shop, L’Eclaireur Paris and Tomorrow Ltd, belonging to countries like Hong Kong, Japan, France, Italy and the United States.
The opening ceremony of the soiree saw the local music band EXO members (Baekhyun, Sehun and D.O) parading alongside some 23 professional models on the runway.
