The day 1 of Myntra Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW) 11th edition (Winter Festive) saw a mix of upcoming talent and the veterans showcasing their collection.

The opening show was an astounding performance by the budding designers from DREAM ZONE fashion school. The techniques used to create each collection by the students were remarkable.

Next, making a statement, SILVENSE BY VRINDAA was a collection embodying the true ethos of today’s Indian modern woman. Keeping the cultural spirit alive and yet emitting a distinctive aura, Silvense by Vrindaa is answer to all those women for who there is nothing best then having Best Statement Jewellery.

The youngest designer on the block DIONNE CLAUDETTE ALVES (Claude & Claudette) stunned the audience with GRANDIOSE, a range in the words of the designer “Who I am I derive inspiration from anything that catches my eye which in turn influences my fashionable soul”.

Next was designer to the brides LALIT DALMIA who began his journey in 2000 by taking over a lineage which has started in 1976. His collection was the mixture of influences blending the ancient heritage with a modern twist the signature to which the brand is very loyal. With iridescent ‘ADITI RAO HYDARI’ walking the ramp for him, the designer proved that his label is a vision for continuous quest for craftsmanship glamour and reverie.

The Day 1 closed by ARCHANA KOCHHAR, the ace couturier who has been showcasing her collection on national and international runways for over a decade now. Due to her international acclaim she has been invited by Galleries L’fayette Paris to showcase her collection with international design house like Versace, Armani and Nina Ricci.

The gorgeous ‘RICHA CHADDA’ & the most talented ‘NIKHIL DWIVEDI’ walked for the veteran and over all it a show one shouldn’t have missed.
