DLF Emporio to host The Treasury Of Trousseau wedding show

DLF Emporio, one of India’s premium luxury shopping destinations located in the country’s capital city of Delhi, is prepping up to host an extravagant wedding show titled Treasury Of Trousseau.

Slated to take place from August 27th to 31st, 2014, the event will aim to serve as a one-stop destination for bespoke wedding services, bridal attires and appointment-only personal consultation from Indian stylists.

Couture brands like AM:PM, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Anju Modi, Ashima Leena, Ashish N Soni, Ensemble, Ganjam, Gaurav Gupta, Indian By Manish Arora, Janavi, Kotwara By Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Malini Ramani, Manav Gangwani, Monisha Jaisingh and Namarata Joshipura will feature their latest creations for brides and grooms.

Also designs from names like Neeru Kumar, Ogaan, Peacock Bride By Falguni & Shane Peacock, Pashma, Raghavendra Rathore, Ravi Bajaj, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Ranna Gill, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Rose, Shantanu & Nikhil, Signature By Satya Paul, Suneet Varma, Surekha Jain, Tarun Tahiliani, Turquoise and Gold, and Varun Bahl will also be displayed at the five-day event.

Three Indian stylists including Niharika Khan (the National Award winning costume designer known for her creations in Dirty Picture, Band Baaja Baaraat, Rock on and Kai Po Che), Aki Narula (known for his designs in films like Bunty Aur Babli and Rockstar) and Gautam Kalra (who created looks for advertisement campaigns for Tanishq, Levis, Reebok, Wills Lifestyle, and Reid and Taylor brands) alongside Indian designers like Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Verma, Ashima Leena and Varun Bahl will help the prospective brides and grooms in choosing their ensembles for the overall trousseau, wedding and honeymoon.

Speaking on the event, designer Rohit Bal says “The DLF Emporio Treasury of Trousseau is truly the ultimate experience for all bridal wear. This one stop destination will have the most elegant and glamorous collections handcrafted by the leading bridal couturists of the country.”

“This is a great platform and what sets it apart from other such events is that you have three of the country’s leading stylists along with the designers to help people select what looks best on them,” designer Varun Bahl adds.

The Senior Vice President of DLF Emporio, Ms. Dinaz Madhukar, says in a statement, “With the Treasury of Trousseau, DLF Emporio offers its patrons a unique shopping experience specially dedicated to the most special occasion in one’s life. This five day long wedding show at DLF Emporio will focus on wedding styling solutions.”

Opened in 2008, the DLF Emporio mall offers creations from more than 129 Indian designers and over 65 international brands such as Giorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Fendi, Tods’s, Burberry and Hugo.
