Rent the Runway marks 5th anniversary with a 25-piece line

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the online store that specializes in designer dress and accessory rental services, Rent the Runway, has launched a new 25-piece capsule collection.
Available to rent for 4 to 8 days, the range features exquisite pieces created by a mix of seven extremely talented fashion and accessory designers including the late Dominican American fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
Offering three to four pieces from each of the designers, the collection includes three scarlet dresses and a silk faille gown by the Californian label Monique Lhuillier as well as three navy blue ensembles and a slick jumpsuit from the American womenswear brand Marchesa Voyage.
The range also offers a gold sequin top and a black tulle skirt combo from the designer duo Mark Badgley and James Mischka, and several other gorgeous dresses and gowns from the Texan talent Lela Rose and CFDA designer Christian Siriano.
Apart from its online rental service, Rent the Runway, which was founded in 2009, also operates through three brick-and-mortar retail locations in the US. The company offers nearly 50,000 dresses and 10,000 accessories from over 200 designer partners, including Vera Wang, Alexis Bittar, Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein. (PB)
